seating cubes

Here are a few shots of the walnut seating cubes I just finished...
The cubes are 18 x 18 x 18 and finger jointed at the corners. Here they are during assembly in the shop and a closeup after the installation of the L-shaped danish nails ready for weaving.
The tops of the cubes are woven with Danish Cord, quite a time consuming process.
Here they are at the show, weaving completed. The cubes are intended to be used as a set that could function as a coffee table, or they can be split apart for use as seating or two end tables.
