The furniture section of this book written by Rachel Gotlieb is super cool. Canadian designers were pioneers in the use of materials like plywood and plastic but were overshadowed by Eames and furniture manufacturers such as Knoll. I'm sure a lot of these pieces ended up in dumpsters because nobody realized their importance.

Apparently designer Thomas Lamb was the father of a friend of mine in grade school, if she only mentioned that in grade five the lights in my brain may have been illuminated.
